A house in St Clement's

A 3-bed home in East Oxford donated to the Land Trust
 Live project

In March 2024, a 3-bedroom house we were donated in St Clement's Ward, East Oxford, will welcome its first ever OCLT tenants. They will pay an affordable rent pegged to Oxford's Local Housing Allowance.

This follows a rigorous application and selection process designed to make sure that the house is used to its full potential by a family in housing need.

Prior to this, we ran a Christmas crowdfunding campaign to raise almost £3,000 to refurbish the house, which enabled us to fully repaint the interior, fit a new carpet downstairs, and remove a decommissioned gas fireplace.

The property is our first within the Oxford city boundaries – and we hope the first of many. If you'd like to explore the possibility of donating your own home to us, or even part-donating it (i.e. selling it at a discount), please don't hesitate to email us at info@oclt.org.uk.
