The ideal candidate will have experience in finance administration or bookkeeping, be comfortable working independently, and ideally have experience supporting small organisations or charities.
The role pays £18–20 per hour depending on experience and offers the opportunity to support a values-driven organisation creating affordable, sustainable community spaces across Oxfordshire.

Administration Support Volunteer
OCLT is looking for volunteers with Administration skills who would like to support a growing community organisation working to create affordable homes and community assets across Oxfordshire.
There are a range of practical ways volunteers can help, depending on your interests, experience, and availability.
This could include supporting Membership administration, Governance processes, meeting coordination, communications, record keeping, or other behind-the-scenes tasks that help OCLT run smoothly as we continue to grow.
This is a flexible volunteer opportunity and a chance to contribute to a values-led organisation creating long-term community benefit across Oxfordshire.
Please contact us, or fill in the application form, below.
Housing Management Volunteer
OCLT is looking for volunteers with housing management experience to help support our growing portfolio of affordable homes across Oxfordshire.
Our properties are professionally managed by SOHA, who carry out day-to-day housing management, so this is not an operational role. However, as OCLT continues to grow, we would really value additional expertise at Board and organisational level from someone with an understanding of housing, tenancies, resident wellbeing, or the wider social housing sector.
This is an opportunity to contribute practical expertise to a values-led organisation working to create genuinely affordable homes and thriving communities in Oxfordshire. The role is flexible and can be shaped around your availability and areas of interest.
Please contact us, or fill in the application form, below.
Green Spaces Volunteer
We need a volunteer to work on our green spaces initiative.
This is an exciting opportunity to help a community set up its own allotment / garden space in Littlemore, on land that’s currently unused but designated for allotments.
We’d ideally like someone able to work 1-2 hours per week to facilitate this process. You’d be working alongside CAG’s community garden coordinator and members of the OCLT team.
The most important qualification is enthusiasm! But it would also be great if you have some experience of gardens and/or growing food; even better if you’ve done this in a community setting before.
Please contact us, or fill in the application form, below.
Graphic Design Volunteer
We are looking for a graphic design volunteer who can help us create a coherent visual identity across our website, social channels, and printed media (e.g. event posters, information boards, material for workshops, etc).
Ideally you will have experience of designing material that can both be taken seriously, and also appear fun and accessible and you will have access to the Adobe design suite or similar software.
You’d be working with a small, dedicated team of volunteers and freelancers committed to expanding community ownership of land and other assets for the benefit of local people and places. And you’d be joining us at a time when we’re expanding in exciting ways, with various innovative projects on the horizon.
Time commitment: about 2-4 hours per week, but we’re happy to discuss whatever would work for you.
Human Resources Advisor
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Advisor to join our Board of Trustees on a voluntary basis. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise to a vital community organisation and make a tangible difference in Oxfordshire. As a Board member, you will provide strategic HR advice and guidance, ensuring best practice in all aspects of people management.

Help us document vital discussions at our Housing Committee, Senior Management Team, and Board meetings (all monthly) plus our AGM (annual). Approximately 4-6 hours of meeting time per month, plus time to refine and distribute minutes and create the agenda for the next meeting.
If you have excellent listening and writing skills, and want to contribute to affordable housing solutions in Oxfordshire, we'd love to hear from you!
