A drawing of our house in St Clement's, East Oxford

Oxfordshire Community Land Trust (OCLT) is delighted to advertise a 3-bedroom house for let at an affordable rent in St Clement’s Ward, East Oxford. The property is in a quiet 1990s cul-de-sac just a 20-minute walk from central Oxford, and close to both South Park and Cowley Road.

We are looking for a small family (no more than 2 adults and no more than 2 children) with rent payable from the 4th March 2024.

Downstairs, the property has a kitchen, lounge with double doors opening onto a garden, a WC, and an under-stairs utility cupboard. Upstairs, it has a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a separate bathroom, and two small bedrooms suitable for younger children.

The rent will be £1125 pcm, and is therefore affordable for people on Local Housing Allowance. The deposit will be equivalent to one month’s rent and protected under a deposit protection scheme.

If you wish to apply to rent this house, you must meet the following criteria:

  • have at least one child and no more than two children who will be living with you

  • be in housing need

  • be a member of OCLT (you can sign up here for just £1)

  • have a connection to the local area

For more details on our criteria, please see our application form.

Viewings will take place on Wednesday 31st January from 5pm-7pm. To arrange a viewing, please book a slot here.

To apply to rent this house, please download the application form (select “File”, then “Download” in the menu bar at the top) and email this as an attachment to housing@oclt.org.uk by 9am on Monday 5th February. We’d be grateful if you could also complete our equality and diversity monitoring form, which we’ll email to you when you apply.

If you are shortlisted, you’ll be invited to an interview at the property on the evening of February 12th or 13th.
