Citizens UK listening campaign

Over the next two months, Oxfordshire Community Land Trust is taking part in an Oxford-wide “Listening Campaign” alongside other civil society organisations, and as part of this we’d love to hear what your priorities are for the city.

The purpose of the listening campaign is to shape an agenda for action to advance social justice in Oxford. Through hundreds of conversations, we and our partner organisations – brought together by Citizens UK – will build up a picture of which pressing issues matter most to Oxford’s citizens. The top priorities will then become the focus of concerted campaigns to create change in the city.

Elsewhere in the country, these campaigns have had great success – whether they’ve focused on housing, like in London; on the harassment of women and girls, like in Nottingham; or on wages, like in Brighton.

To begin our conversations, we’d like to hear from you about which issue is putting pressure on you and your friends / family, and what your first practical priority would be if you were “running” the city for a day. Click here to complete a very short (c. 2-minute) survey that will help us feed your views into the process. You’ll then have the opportunity to talk to us in person about your response if you’d like – either as part of a group or individually.

We’re looking forward to hearing your views!
